Most antique stores are on South Granville or on Main Street. Most outdoor gear is near MEC on West Broadway and most high end boutiques are on Robson Street. Vancouverites have not embraced malls as much as one might imagine. That doesn't mean there aren't great malls, especially downtown Pacific Centre Mall with its luxury boutiques and department stores. However, for a megamall experience, hop on the Sky Train and get off at the Metrotown Station. Here you'll find three adjoining malls: Station Square, Metrotown Centre, and Eaton Square. Together they comprise over 450 shops, two food fairs, several restaurants, two giant grocery stores, two cinema complexes with 15 theatres and a hotel. For street shopping, Vancouverites and visitors alike love Robson Street on the Vancouver west end, just two blocks south of and parallel to West Georgia. Here you'll find many of the best shops in Vancouver and plenty of places to eat so you can keep up your shopping stamina. |
