Vancouver River Rafting

Only an hour from Vancouver, you can go white water rafting near Squamish, at Brackendale. This whitewater destination has everything for the novice or the experienced rafter: fun, excitement, thrills, and great scenery. From here, you have a chance to raft the Squamish & Elaho river system which cuts through a deep canyon in one of British Columbia's most majestic wilderness environments.

Experience 16kms (10 miles) of glaciers, rapids, waves and waterfalls that cascade hundreds of feet to the river. This is a genuine wilderness experience. Depending on the current, trips last between 2 and 3 hours.

The upper sections of the rivers features Class 3-4 "Devil's Elbow" rapids part of the same route used in the 1996 Eco-Challenge Adventure Race. Along the way, if you just can't get enough excitement, you can jump off a cliff, swim through rapids, or take part in a raft rodeo. You can even experience Canada's largest standing wave if that's your idea of fun.

Raft trips from Squamish and Brackendale include lunch and, depending on the season, eagle viewing.

State of the art equipment, guides and transportation to the river (if required) are included.
You will be required to sign a waiver before embarking on the white water rafting trips in Brackendale.
