Unless Lost Lagoon in Stanley Park freezes during the winter, which it hardly ever does, the only outdoor ice rink available around Vancouver is at the top of Grouse Mountain. It's free with the $25 ticket for the SkyRide.
If you are taking the SkyRide to the top of Grouse Mountain, there are lots of other things to do besides ice skate. You can eat lunch or dinner, take a sleigh ride, watch a free movie about the city and the mountain, and of course, ski, board and snowshoe.
