This is a popular hangout for the 20s and 30s crowd, but everyone is welcome. The place and dress are casual, music is popular or classic rock, there's a jukebox and a great view of sports events on the screens or the beach out the window. There's a two for one pizza night and pasta specials.

Mahoney's Sports Grill is conveniently located right downtown on Vancouver's busiest visitor street. It has great TV sports viewing and a huge selection of beers.

Maverick's is the place to go if you like to participate in sports as well as watch them. You'll always find an assortment of volleyball players, inline skaters, cyclists, walkers, rowers, sports fans and fitness enthusiasts. The place is big, the atmosphere is relaxed. Roller blades are welcome.

Slightly younger crowd at nevermind with more alternative rock and skater music. The place has almost an underground pub atmosphere with a modern twist and cool artwork. nevermind is the place to hang if you're looking for skater and boarder types.

Mark's Fiasco has steaks, ribs, chicken and hand-made pizzas and pastas. The pizza and pasta are especially good. Mark's has something special to offer every day, and live music on the weekends. The music ranges from popular to hip hop. It's a little dressier than Sports Bars but still has lots of TV's and mirrors. The bar and restaurant are separate and the kitchen is open. It's a good relaxed neighborhood pub with a little bit of club in it.
