Rafting for Families Only about an hour's drive from Vancouver, on the way to Whistler, you have the opportunity to enjoy a float down one of British Columbia's beautiful rivers.
This scenic rafting trip offers a gentle and comfortable way for everyone in the family to experience some of Canada's most spectacular river and mountain scenery. There are no big whitewater sections, just a few small splashy rapids, outstanding scenery and lots of smiles.
Relax and take in the natural wonders of the Squamish River valley during this 3-hour float. Have lunch while you learn about the area's natural history and geology and watch for local coyotes, deer, bald eagles and waterfowl.
This rafting trips meets in the upper Squamish valley. Transportation provided to and from the river via a specially outfitted school bus. Bring clothing appropriate for the weather. A change of clothes and a towel are always a good idea as well.
