Vancouver's Historic Gastown

Historic Gastown is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Vancouver.

Conveniently located within walking distance of Canada Place in the heart of Vancouver, Gastown is famous for its cobblestone streets, excellent restaurants, steam clock and shops.

Gastown is the Vancouver's oldest downtown neighborhood and it's definitely worth a visit if you're looking for souvenirs, trendy shops, good food, Native Arts and Crafts or nightlife.

It's a good place to visit if you're coming off a cruise ship or about to board because it's only a couple of blocks from the Canada Place Cruise Ship Terminal.

If you're in town at the right time of year, you'll have a chance to experience the Gastown Jazz Festival, the Tour de Gastown, Gastown Days, or an Antique Vehicles event.
