Overview

This 12-day Trans Canada adventure takes you to Banff in the breath-taking Canadian Rockies on the Rocky Mountaineer and then tours through the Canadian Rockies from Banff to Jasper by way of Lake Louise by motor coach.

You’ll spend 5 nights and 5 days exploring the Rockies: two nights in Banff, two at the Chateau Lake Louise and a night in Jasper National Park before settling into your private bedroom on ViaRail’s Silver & Blue Service to Toronto.

You’ll spend 2 days and three nights on the ViaRail train. You board the ViaRail train in Jasper at 5:30 PM and arrive in Toronto three days later at 9:30 AM.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in the dining car, and you’ll have access to the club car and the observation car during your days on the ViaRail train between Jasper and Toronto.

The Trans-Canada Rail Adventure begins with an overnight stay in Vancouver on various dates between May 3 to September 27, 2012.

  • RedLeaf Service - Reserved seating in comfortable, traditional train cars with picture windows. Breakfast and lunch are served at your seat each day and nonalcoholic beverages are included.
  • GoldLeaf Service – Reserved seating in the GoldLeaf elevated dome car. Breakfast and lunch are served in the GoldLeaf dining car and GoldLeaf passengers have access to the outdoor viewing platform. Alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages are included as is dinner in Kamloops.
