Overview

This wonderful 8 day vacation, Rocky Mountaineer’s most popular package, gives you a chance to see the Canadian Rockies and stay in the most beautiful Canadian Rockies destinations, all in a week.

You’ll spend a night in Vancouver followed by two magnificent days on the Rocky Mountaineer between Vancouver and Jasper. After two nights in Jasper, you’ll travel by motor coach (or rental car) through the Canadian Rockies, stopping along the way to explore the Athabasca Glacier and Columbia Icefield, Lake Louise, the world renowned Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise, Banff and the Banff Gondola.

This tour begins with an overnight stay in Vancouver or Calgary on selected dates from April 23 to October 3, 2011.

  • RedLeaf Service - Reserved seating in comfortable, traditional train cars with picture windows. Breakfast and lunch are served at your seat each day and nonalcoholic beverages are included.
  • GoldLeaf Service – Reserved seating in the GoldLeaf elevated dome car. Breakfast and lunch are served in the GoldLeaf dining car and GoldLeaf passengers have access to the outdoor viewing platform.
    Alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages are included as is dinner in Kamloops.
