This two day Rocky Mountaineer train vacation to the Canadian Rockies is just perfect if you have limited time, if you want to create your own Canadian Rockies itinerary or if you are looking for travel between whistler and Jasper and want to take the most scenic route.

Keep in mind as you make plans that you can take the Rocky Mountaineer between Whistler and Jasper then return on an overnight train from Jasper to Vancouver.
You can also take the overnighttrain from Vancouver to Jasper. Then you can take the Rocky Mountaineer from Jasper to Whistler.

- Prices are lower in April, May and October. Trips that include Calgary are $100 more for RedLeaf and $150 for GoldLeaf Service.

- RedLeaf Service – Reserved seating in comfortable, traditional passenger cars with picture windows. Breakfast and lunch are served at your seat each day and nonalcoholic beverages are included.
- GoldLeaf Service – Reserved seating in the GoldLeaf elevated dome car. Breakfast and lunch are served in the GoldLeaf dining car and GoldLeaf passengers have access to the outdoor viewing platform.
Alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages are included as is dinner and accommodations in Kamloops.
