This very reasonably priced (especially considering the current favourable exchange rate) Skin Care Centre has the best skin care treatments in town.

Vancouver Laser and Skin Care Centre's treatments include hair and tattoo removal, micro-dermabrasion (Parisian Peel), Endermologie, a process that removes cellulite and improves circulation and body shape, Photorejuvenation, leg vein treatments and Restylane or Botox treatments for lips and facial wrinkles.

Micro-dermabrasion is a gentle treatment that directs a stream of very fine crystals and mild suction exactly where they're needed to remove the dead outer layer of skin on your face. The result is smoother, softer skin. Photorejuventaion uses Intense Pulsed Light to remove more persistent facial imperfections.

The technicians are experienced and well qualified. Our favourite is the senior technician and trainer, Jennifer Hubbard. Excellent, Inexpensive Massage

The West Coast College of Massage Therapy, located in New Westminster, a half hour skytrain ride from downtown Vancouver, is well worth the trip. It is considered by many to provide the best massage training in North America, and it includes a public clinic.

Students must complete a rigorous three year program to achieve certification. Public clinic therapists are third year students working under the supervision of Registered Massage Therapist instructors.

Services include, besides excellent massages, herbal bath, aromatic steam bath, full body clay pack, full body wrap, salt glow, paraffin wax treatment, and affusion therapy. All treatments are $27.50 or less. For more information contact the college at 604-520-1830.

Even More Inexpensive Alternative
