This wonderful week long Rocky Mountaineer Vacation gives you a chance to see the Canadian Rockies and stay in the most beautiful Canadian Rockies destinations, with all the convenience of your own full size car.

It’s the perfect trip if you have a week, want to experience the Canadian Rockies by train and still have the freedom to explore this magnificent scenery at your own pace. Your rental car comes with a Gypsy Guide GPS commentary system so you’ll know all about the spectacular scenery you see along the way.

You’ll spend two days on the Rocky Mountaineer between Vancouver and Banff. From Banff, you’ll pick up your full size car for 5 days of adventures and exploration in the Rockies. You’ll see Jasper, Athabasca Falls, Crowfoot Glacier, Mt. Edith Cavell, the Athabasca Glacier and Columbia Icefield, the world renowned Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise and Banff.

  • RedLeaf Service - Reserved seating in comfortable, traditional train cars with picture windows. Breakfast and lunch are served at your seat each day and nonalcoholic beverages are included.
  • SilverLeaf Service – Reserved seating in a custom built single level car with 67% more viewing area than RedLeaf, hot breakfast and lunch served at your seat, complimentary wine or beer with lunch, complimentary nonalcoholic beverages during the day and overnight accommodations in Kamloops.
  • GoldLeaf Service – Reserved seating in the GoldLeaf elevated dome car. Breakfast and lunch are served in the GoldLeaf dining car and GoldLeaf passengers have access to the outdoor viewing platform.
    Alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages are included as is dinner in Kamloops.
