Overview

The 16-day Trans Canada odyssey encompasses several vacations in one. You’ll spend two days on the Rocky Mountaineer train from Vancouver to Banff and 5 days on the ViaRail Canadian from Jasper to Halifax, Nova Scotia.

You’ll spend 5 nights in the the Canadian Rockies, two nights in Toronto with a tour to Niagara Falls, two nights in Montreal and a night in Halifax. Add extra nights at the beginning or end of this journey and, perhaps a rental car, and explore Vancouver, Victoria and Whistler on the West Coast or Montreal and Halifax on the other side of the country.

This amazing adventure begins with an overnight stay in Vancouver on various dates from May 3 until September 27, 2012. (see start dates below.)

  • RedLeaf Service - Reserved seating in comfortable, traditional train cars with picture windows. Breakfast and lunch are served at your seat each day and nonalcoholic beverages are included.
    SilverLeaf Service – Reserved seating in a custom built single level car with 67% more viewing area than RedLeaf, hot breakfast and lunch served at your seat, complimentary wine or beer with lunch, complimentary nonalcoholic beverages during the day and overnight accommodations in Kamloops.
  • GoldLeaf Service – Reserved seating in the GoldLeaf elevated dome car. Breakfast and lunch are served in the GoldLeaf dining car and GoldLeaf passengers have access to the outdoor viewing platform.
    Alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages are included on the train.
