This independent adventure includes a Rocky Mountaineer train tour from Vancouver to Banff and your own rental car from Banff to Calgary. You get two nights in Banff and two days with your own car to explore the Canadian Rockies before you drop your car in Calgary. Starts with an overnight stay in Vancouver any Saturday, Monday or Wednesday between April 30 and October 13, 2008. This tour is also available from Calgary.
The Canadian Rockies Excursion gives you the opportunity to take the train between Vancouver and Banff and to spend a night in Banff National Park along the way. After your stay in Banff, you will travel to Calgary by motor coach. Includes overnight stays in Vancouver, Kamloops, Banff and Calgary. Rocky Mountaineer offers train travel between Whistler & Jasper. You'll spend two days on the Rocky Mountaineer and one night in Quesnel, midway through the journey. The train departs Whistler & Jasper Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from May 10 to October 14, 2008. When you travel the Fraser Discovery Route between Whistler & Jasper, you'll encounter few towns and no urban areas. It's just you, the train and nature.
