The shortest Rocky Mountaineer train trip includes two days on the Rocky Mountaineer and an overnight stay in Kamloops, midway through the journey. Trains depart Vancouver, Jasper, Banff and Calgary each Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday from April 3 to October 14, 2008.
There are no one day Rocky Mountaineer train trips but you can spend one day on the train and then return to your original destination the following day. In other words, you can travel from Vancouver to Kamloops and back to Vancouver or from Banff to Kamloops and back to Banff, Jasper or Calgary. So we can accommodate most requests as long as they include at least two days on the train and one overnight stay in Kamloops.

Two Day Whistler-Jasper Train Trip

The newest Rocky Mountaineer train trip travels between Whistler & Jasper. It includes two days on the Rocky Mountaineer and an overnight stay in Quesnel, midway through the journey. The train departs Whistler & Jasper most Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from May 12 to October 13, 2008.
One of the great appeals of this route, called the Fraser Discovery Route, is that you travel through no urban areas so the scenery is spectacular from the moment the train leaves the station in both Whistler and Jasper.

Rocky Mountaineer Classic Rail Tour
