Vancouver is a city of neighbourhoods, micro cities,  each with its own architectural style, business district, attitude, attributes, amenities, feel and ambiance. Most often visitors to Vancouver see the neighbourhoods surrounding the downtown core: Chinatown, Gastown, the West End and Robson Street.

However, many other neighbourhoods, some quite close at hand, are well worth a visit, especially Yaletown, Kitsilano, Commercial Drive, Granville Street and Granville Island.

You can get more information about each of these great neighbourhoods and find out how to get to each one on public transportation here.
